Paramore Confirm Farro Brothers Have Left Band

In a statement Saturday, band confirm rumors that they have parted ways with Josh and Zac Farro.

On Saturday (December 18), Paramore announced that brothers Josh and Zac Farro were leaving the band, confirming rumors that had begun swirling earlier in the week.

In a blog post on the band's official site Paramore wrote that the Farros had actually decided to leave the group "a couple of months ago," and that, while fans might be shocked by the news, the remaining three members — frontwoman Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York — weren't.

"None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore," the statement read in part. "We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere."

The Farro brothers — guitarist Josh and drummer Zac — founded Paramore with Williams and Davis in 2004 (York was made an official member of the band around the release of 2009's Brand New Eyes album), and though the group has lost two of its core members, they pledged to continue on ... with a South American tour scheduled for February and, as York told MTV News earlier this month, a new album.

"We never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind. We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey together," the statement read. "You have always been what keeps us going so why would we stop now? We want to stick by you. Knowing that we have a unified passion and a clear vision makes us feel stronger than ever."

Earlier this week, a blog post announcing the Farros departure began making the rounds. And though it was credited to the band, in their statement on Saturday, Paramore denounced it as "a fake."

"The 'blog' that was posted regarding everything that is going on with our band ...we aren't sure who did it or why... And we aren't sure how they timed it this way," their statement read. "This is the first time that we have spoken out about what's going on and we wouldn't have released an official statement that important through a personal blog. So, we're sorry for any confusion and just to remain clear, this is the first time we have spoken out about this."

Paramore concluded by thanking their fans for standing by them, and promised that 2011 will be a big year for the band. Farro brothers, or not.

"We have some amazing things lined up for next year starting with our tour in South America. We are still coming to you and we are excited about who we are bringing with us! The tour is still on and we can't wait to see you all," they wrote. "As we look back, and now as we look with excitement to the future, in all of this what truly matters are the good times. The pictures of us with our arms around each other, the long van rides, your faces while you sing along as we play. Thank you for getting us right here to this very moment. We look forward to our best times. And we hope you will go there with us."

What do you think about the Farro brothers leaving Paramore? Let us know in the comments!

Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Spotted In The Studio

'Feels so good to overcome a fear,' reality starlet tweets after musical meet-up.
By Jocelyn Vena

Kim Kardashian arrives at a Culver City recording studio on Tuesday
Photo: Bauer-Griffin Online

Kim Kardashian might not be having Kanye West's baby, but the two certainly seem to be up to something. The duo were spotted at the same Culver City, California, recording studio on Tuesday. Kim was accompanied by momager Kris Jenner as well as TV cameras, while Kanye showed up all on his own.

In photos posted on TooFab.com, Kim is seen walking into the studio wearing boots, a baggy T-shirt and cargo jeans. Kanye, who is set to make an appearance on Kim's new show airing this January, is seen wearing leather pants, a white T-shirt and a leather jacket.

"OMG u guys have no idea what I'm doing today! You are gonna DIE!!!! OMGGGG I'm nervous!!!!!!" she tweeted the same day the duo were spotted at the studio.

"Its going down in here!!! Will twitpic soon! I'm turning it ooooonnnn!!!!" she later added. "What should my alter ego name be? What an amazing day!!! I'm finished for today...but we have a few more to go! Can't twitpic just yet but will soon! Feels so good to overcome a fear!"

Whatever she's up to, with or without Kanye, Kim was still busy on Wednesday (December 29). She tweeted, "Day #2 let's go!"

For his part, Kanye has been pretty quiet on Twitter. His last tweet was on December 27, when he shared, "New dreams... New problems... New solutions."

In November, when rumors first surfaced that they were up to something musically, Kim danced around the topic. "He's a musical genius, so I would be honored to work with Kanye," she told MTV News. "It's all in fun. We're just trying to have a good time."

What do you think about Kanye and Kim's musical, um, kollaboration? Let us know in the comments!

Hayley Williams Talks 'Glee' Set Visit, Hypes Cory Monteith's Band

'When Cory invited us to come and see the set I was stoked,' Paramore frontwoman tells MTV News.
By James Montgomery

Photo: Tim Mosenfelder/Getty Images

On Monday, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams visited — and apparently got lost on — the set of "Glee." We know this because Williams tweeted about it, which led us to wonder one thing: Why was she there?

After all, it's no secret that both the band and the show have mutual admiration, so it was entirely possible that Paramore were filming a cameo on the show. Of course, given the friendship between Williams and "Glee" star Cory Monteith, it was equally as possible that the two were just hanging out.

So we decided to get to the bottom of the matter. We e-mailed a rep for Paramore's labels, Atlantic/ Fueled by Ramen, and asked if Williams would be willing to talk about visiting the show. Turns out, she was — and though it might bum out fans of the band (or "Glee") to hear it, it seems her visit had nothing to do with business.

" 'Glee' is an important show to me 'cause it's keeping music on television. It's even encouraging schools to not ditch their music programs," Williams wrote in an e-mail. "A few of the cast members had reached out to me over Twitter a while back. They all seemed really cool and down to earth, so when Cory invited us to come and see the set I was stoked. We don't do a whole lot of TV appearances and their world is a lot different than what we're used to. I just had a good time seeing everyone in their element."

In a follow up e-mail, the label rep clarified that Paramore were not filming a cameo for the show, but that didn't mean that, while she was on set, Williams didn't take the opportunity to talk a little business with Monteith. Turns out, he's just joined a band, and Williams is stoked.

"I also found out that Cory is a drummer! All this time I thought he was a singer," she wrote. "Apparently he's in a band that's just starting up so keep your eyes and ears open!"

What do you think about Hayley's love for "Glee"? Let us know in the comments!

'Teen Mom' Star Amber Portwood Pleads Not Guilty To Assault

Portwood was arrested and charged with felony domestic battery and child neglect Monday.
By James Dinh

"Teen Mom" stars baby Leah and Amber Portwood

"Teen Mom" star Amber Portwood pleaded not guilty Tuesday (December 28) to felony domestic battery and child neglect charges, TMZ reports.

Portwood, who was arrested Monday, is being held on $5,000 bail and is expected to be released later Tuesday. The state of Indiana has prohibited the 20-year-old from having any contact with her daughter, Leah, or the alleged victim, Gary Shirley.

During the last season of "Teen Mom," MTV cameras followed Portwood and three other young women in their quest to manage motherhood. Portwood's turbulent relationship with on-and-off fiancé Shirley, 24, reached a boiling point when she punched him in the face in front of their then-1-year-old, Leah. Additional episodes of the series displayed Portwood abusing Shirley both physically and verbally, twice with their child present. According to The Associated Press, Anderson, Indiana, police began investigating Portwood after a September episode of "Teen Mom" depicting an altercation.

According to CBS News, Portwood claimed that the events described in police documentation never occurred in front of Leah.

Portman agreed to be monitored by child protective services for six months in November. However, later that month, state officials charged the 20-year-old mother with three counts of domestic violence, due to her behavior on the series. In late November, Leah became a ward of the state of Indiana before returning to her mother shortly after.

During the reunion episode after season two of "Teen Mom," the 20-year-old mother opened up about her behavior on the series, saying, "I have no clue why I hurt Gary. I sort of do, but it's kind of beyond myself. I can't help myself. I have to get help and then help myself. I never notice how bad I am until I see it. And I feel so terrible. And it's like, did I really do that? The people who are around me, how do they feel? I don't remember it being that bad at the time. How did Gary feel? What the hell was I doing?"

David Guetta Wants To Drop Dance Beats On Rihanna's Next LP

The superstar French DJ/producer tells MTV News he and the pop diva have discussed a collaboration.

When Rihanna released her Rated R last fall, she showed fans that she was in a darker, more serious mood. Tracks like "Russian Roulette" and "Hard" were decidedly more introspective than her past club bangers. But if superstar French DJ David Guetta has his way, he'll have Rih back to singing tunes like her mega-hit "Umbrella."

"Well, you know I'm a DJ, so I make beats that make you wanna dance," Guetta told MTV News at the Activision E3 party in Los Angeles. "And I think she was one of the first to do that in that urban world, so you know, I think it would be good for her to do it again."

While the producer already has some material in mind for the pop star, he said it was just a matter of scheduling.

"We['re] thinking of doing something together, yes," he revealed. "Yeah, yeah, yeah [the beat's ready], we just have to make sure it's OK with her schedule and my schedule, 'cause ... this is what happens. Unfortunately, it's not only about the music anymore, it's also about schedules, which is really boring but, you know."

Dutch DJ/producer Afrojack was able to get into the studio with Guetta and hear some of the material he's working on for Rihanna.

"He was in the studio with me the first time [after] he finished the new song for Rihanna," Afrojack said of Guetta. "He was like, 'Oh my God! You gotta hear this! It's crazy!' I was expecting some crazy club sh--. He played me that track, and it was a good track. I think, pop-wise, it's a fatter sound. Musically, it's as high a level as RedOne, Lady Gaga's producer."

Rihanna has been vocal about bringing up the energy level on her next album.

"Rated R, I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass," Rihanna told MTV Korea in February. "I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, uptempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that's where we'll probably go next."

Where would you like to see Rihanna go musically on her next album? Tell us in the comments!

Wiz Khalifa To Go Green On Next Single, 'Roll Up'

Pittsburgh MC tells MTV News he just 'came up with' follow-up to 'Black and Yellow.'

Wiz Khalifa may not be an environmentalist, but the Pittsburgh rapper does have a thing for the green movement.

So for a follow-up to his breakout hit "Black and Yellow," it only makes sense he tap a resource he's familiar with.

"The next single is called 'Roll Up,' surprisingly," he told MTV News with a laugh. "Really, I just needed another single and we were trying to come up with a look and then me and [my manager] talked about it," Wiz continued. "We talked about it for three minutes. And then I came up with that song."

The track is slated for release on his forthcoming debut album, which is yet-untitled but tentatively scheduled for a March release.

"I'm definitely looking forward to my next single coming out," Wiz said. "I'm looking forward to my album dropping in late March, which is gonna be exciting for me and the Taylors worldwide. Like I keep saying, always keep building on top of my brand, keep doing what I'm doing and make new fans."

The MC is currently in Los Angeles, where MTV News visited Wiz and Snoop Dogg as they shot the video for the remix, or G-mix, to Wiz's "Black and Yellow."

"Black and yellow, ahh, black and yellow/ See me now they treating me like I'm somebody special," Wiz spits on the remix. "Smoking on that good, know it's me soon as they smell it/ You can chill, I'm the one who get it, not the one who sell it/ I grind every day, I'm balling, I can't help it/ N---as on that bullsh--, my pockets full of Celtics."

Snoop sent a picture to Twitter of the pair partaking in some smoke-filled activities while in the studio over the weekend. "Tha Dogg N @RealWizKhalifa blowin' like a broke stove, ya digggggggg?!?!?!" Snoop wrote.

Nicki Minaj Uses Others' Success As 'Fuel To Go Hard'

Between takes of 'Moment 4 Life' video, Barbie says, 'A lot of people harbor just a lot of just hate, envy.'
By Hillary Crosley, with reporting by Sway Calloway

Nicki Minaj
Photo: MTV News

2010 has been a banner year for MTV News' #5 Woman of the Year, Nicki Minaj. In addition to performing with Lil Wayne on "NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly," Minaj is celebrating the holidays by filming a video for "Moment 4 Life." The clip features her Young Money labelmate Drake.

Between takes on Monday, the Queens native talked about those who haven't been so giddy about her success.

"I hate to say it, but a lot of people harbor just a lot of just hate, envy," she said. "It almost feels like, because I'm where I am, they're where they are. I didn't do this to you; I didn't do this to your career. I'm responsible for Nicki; you're responsible for you."

While Minaj didn't mention Lil' Kim by name, the Queen Bee talked about her rift with Barbie on Friday when she stopped by New York's Hot 97 radio station. Kim said she looked at Minaj's success as "a way for me to kind of come back in" but ultimately got "played."

Minaj said: "When you see someone else being successful and your first instinct is to tear them apart, that's just a sign of you feeling unhappy with your achievements. But what I try to explain to people is: Whenever you feel like that — and we all feel like that sometimes, like 'Ah, somebody's doing it. Somebody's popping a lot' — use that as fuel to go hard. That's what I did."

"I was like, 'You know what? This one is doing their thing; this one is doing that; why can't I do it?' " she continued. "But see, I looked at people like [Lil] Wayne. I would go to the studio, and I would observe Wayne, and I would literally pray. I would say 'God, give me his work ethic.' You have to ask for what you want. You have to identify what it is you need to get where you need to go and then speak that. You have to say it."

She also hinted that changing one's life direction is more than just words. "If that's what you want is a great work ethic, then you have to program that into your life," she said. "But looking at somebody with a great work ethic and hating them is not going to help you."

2010 In 60 Seconds: Comebacks By Kanye, Eminem, Betty White And More

MTV News' pop-culture expert Jim Cantiello takes a look back at the year that was: all in a minute.
By James Montgomery

Kanye West
Photo: Jean Baptiste Lacroix/ WireImage

Well, 2010 is nearly in the books, and if you're a fan of octogenarians on the comeback trail, "California Gurls" gone wild and swoop-haired Canadian teenagers, congratulations on the best year of your life!

Yes, it was quite a ride ... Kanye West returned to top form, Eminem recaptured his old magic, Taylor Swift moved a million, Rihanna proved to be unstoppable, Katy Perry proved the doubters wrong and Ke$ha, well, she just proved to be Ke$ha. Lady Gaga dared to speak out, Weezy went away, and a host of new stars — everyone from Drake to Justin Bieber to Willow Smith — stepped up to the plate.

In pop culture, we were mesmerized by the exploits of everyone from Amber Portwood to Zac Efron, obsessed with the likes of Antoine Dobson and the "Pants on the Floor" guy, cheered on Betty White and vilified Mel Gibson (and probably Miley, too). We watched as our favorite couples went their separate ways, said goodbye to "Lost," "The Hills" and Jay Leno (whom we then said hello to all over again), and went absolutely crazy for the iPad. Oh, and everything in the universe was made in 3-D.

And all of that was just the tip of a rather sizeable iceberg. It's pretty difficult to sum up 2010 in any way, so let's just say it was the "most" year in recent memory. The most stars, the most scandals, the most use of the word "vuvuzela." There were more shake-ups, breakups and comebacks than we can even remember ... so it's a good thing we've got MTV News' pop culture expert Jim Cantiello to do it for us. Here's his look back on the year that was ... in 60 seconds, of course.

Ready? Go.

'Jersey Shore' Star DJ Pauly D Working On Spin-Off

MTV pilot was shot in September.
By Gil Kaufman

Photo: Bobby Bank/ WireImage

You may be seeing a lot more of "Jersey Shore" star Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio in 2011. MTV announced Wednesday (December 22) that the network has signed an option deal for a series starring the perfectly coiffed club kid that will look at the Providence, Rhode Island, native's life outside of the Shore.

A pilot of the show was shot by 495 Productions, the company behind "Shore," in September.

"At the heart of 'Jersey Shore' is the unique and genuine cast and Pauly D truly embodies both qualities," Chris Linn, executive vice president of programming and head of production for MTV, said in a statement. "He's distinguished himself onscreen as the fun-loving, well-coiffed and dependable guy you can't help but want to hang out with. We know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore and we look forward to exploring new possibilities around that."

Along with pals Snooki, the Situation and the rest of the "Shore" gang, Pauly has helped turn the show into a cultural phenomenon. The third season of "Shore" will kick off January 6.

Though he's the first "Shore" castmember to get a shot at a spin-off series, like his housemates, Pauly D has been keeping busy when not filming the MTV show. He dropped his first single, "Beat Dat Beat," last year and was nominated for the "America's Best DJ" competition for the second year in a row. He's also locked down a DJ residency in Las Vegas and will perform at "Disney's Grad Nite 2011" at Magic Kingdom Park.

But first, he'll be on hand on New Year's Eve with the gang to help ring in 2011 on MTV.

Don't miss "MTV New Year's Bash," starting at 10:30 p.m. ET on New Year's Eve!

My Chemical Romance's 'Sing' Video: Go Behind The Scenes!

Clip premieres at 12:01 a.m. on MTV.com.
By James Montgomery

My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way on the set of their video for "Sing"
Photo: MTV News

My Chemical Romance's brand-new "Sing" video doesn't premiere until 12:01 a.m. ET on MTV.com, but you can get a sneak peek at some behind-the-scenes action right now.

Last month, MTV News was on set with the guys of MCR as they took over downtown Los Angeles in the very early morning hours to film "Sing," the second clip from their upcoming Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys album. It picks up right where the first video — the white-hot "Na Na Na" — ends, following the band's Killjoy characters as they invade Battery City (and the headquarters of the evil Better Living Industries) in an attempt to rescue a mysterious little girl from the clutches of the nefarious Korse.

Do they succeed in their mission? Well, to be honest, we're not sure if they succeed or not, mostly because, on the day we stopped by, MCR were busy burning rubber up and down a L.A. tunnel in their Killjoy Trans Am — they do all their own stunts, for the record — shooting several scenes in which they peel out, peer menacingly and, most awesomely, bust right on through a checkpoint manned by Blind Industry soldiers (and at least one Draculoid).

It looked like it was a blast, and in between takes, MCR frontman Gerard Way — who co-directs the video along with P.R. Brown — watched replays and laughed, almost as if he couldn't believe he was being allowed to get away with this.

And then, daylight came and shooting was over. Trust us, we're waiting to see how this whole thing plays out too. But before the big premiere — again, it's at 12:01 am ET on MTV.com — check out our behind-the-scenes look at the making of My Chemical Romance's "Sing."

What are you expecting from the latest MCR video? Let us know in the comments!

Nicki Minaj Surprised By Success: 'I Never Saw All Of This'

'When [Lil] Wayne first called and reached out, I thought it was a joke,' MC admits to MTV News.

What's a girl without her dreams? Nicki Minaj has realized more of hers than most this year, from releasing her highly successful debut LP, Pink Friday to becoming MTV News' #6 Hottest MC in the Game. And, the Queens MC said she's still surprised by her achievements.

"A part of me expected it, because I wanted it so bad, but I never saw all of this," the MC told MTV News' Sway Calloway. "You know, I never would've imagined that I would've signed to [Lil] Wayne, number one."

On Monday, Minaj took time between takes while filming her video for "Moment 4 Life" with Drake to talk about becoming the queen of rap's reigning crew.

"[I] never imagined that Young Money/ Cash Money would be the hip-hop crew," she said. "To be signed to them is one thing, but to be signed to them when they're at their height, when this has become like an insane movement? No, I never imagined that, because when Wayne first called and reached out, I thought it was a joke.

"I've wanted this for a very long time, but I couldn't — not even with a crystal ball — I could not have predicted these things would really happen this way."

Minaj has even outsold, if we're counting weekly sales, one of her idols: Mr. Kanye West. West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy dropped November 22, the same day as Pink Friday. And while West garnered bigger opening-week numbers, Barbie has outpaced his album sales per week for the past 14 days. To date, Minaj's release has sold 658,439 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Girl power!" she said, with a giggle.

Are you surprised by Nicki Minaj's success this year? Tell us in the comments below.

Since recording the internationally successful hip-hop/dance single "Right Round," Flo Rida seems to have found the sound he'd like to follow on his next go-round. The rapper can now be included in an ever-expanding list of superstars turning to dance-music super-producer David Guetta in search of a song to set the club on fire.

We recently caught up with the new partners in crime on the Los Angeles video set for their collaboration, "Club Can't Handle Me." The song not only appears on the MC's upcoming album, The Only One, but it's also slated to be the lead single for Disney's "Step Up" threequel, "Step Up 3-D."

And working with Guetta means Flo's not in bad company: Rihanna, Akon, Kelly Rowland and the Black Eyed Peas are but a few of the folks who've partnered with Guetta during the French DJ's two-year ascension on the U.S. pop-music scene. With each song, Guetta's knack for getting folks to jump to their feet seems to grow stronger.

"David Guetta has been a guy who I look up to," Flo told MTV News. "He's definitely been big around the world and has always been there to let me know that my music is hot, and vice versa. So I definitely appreciate doing this big record with him."

"I was always playing a bootleg with 'Love Is Gone' [Guetta's original collabo with Kelly Rowland] and 'Low,' from him," Guetta recalled. "One day, his record company called me and asked me if I would produce records for him. I was like, 'Yeah! Of course! Because I knew it was working in every club I was playing already."

The video's backdrop is exactly what one might imagine from the title: an opulent, extravagant club party befitting a rap boss and world-renowned club DJ.

"This video right here is just, if you've ever dreamed about having the biggest party of your life, 'Club Can't Handle Me' definitely represents that," Flo said. "Lotta energy. Lot of diamonds, ice sculptures. Just showing that boss vibe. So I mean really, the club can't handle me."

But it was Guetta who probably summed it up best saying, "We are definitely both club people — it's like our office!" he laughed.

Flo Rida's forthcoming The Only One features production by Dr. Luke ("Right Round") and guest verses from Jay Rock and Lil Wayne.

Bruno Mars' 'Grenade' Video: The Passion Of The Crooner

Singer/songwriter thinks outside the box in clever new clip.
By James Montgomery

Bruno Mars is sort of like Meat Loaf, only without limits: He would do anything for love, including — but not limited to — catching a grenade, putting his hand on a blade, leaping in front of a train, being shot in the brain and, of course, dragging a piano all around Greater Los Angeles.

That last one doesn't rhyme, because it's not supposed to. It's the basic premise of Mars' brand-new "Grenade" video, which finds the diminutive crooner shouldering the load (literally) for love, lugging an upright piano over freeways, through tunnels, past some serious gangbangers (and one mean-ass pit bull) and against traffic to serenade his special lady friend. Of course, by the time he makes it to her house, she's already found her way into the arms of another man, which disheartens Mars to such a degree that he sets himself (and his piano) down in front of a speeding train. After all, not only is he a man of his word, but as he proves over the course of the video, he's not exactly opposed to a dramatic gesture either.

Credit is due to Mars for thinking outside the rather rote, pop&B box when it came time to make the "Grenade" video. After all, it would've been easy — and expected — to make something slick, sexy and/or saccharine, a glossy thing where he croons from a rooftop somewhere, removes his shirt, and somehow ends up with the girl. None of that happens here. Rather, we see Mars struggling and sweating, being taunted and tempted, falling and rising again (there is something oddly "Passion of the Christ" about his ordeal). He ends up alone, unloved. He probably gets flattened by a train. It is sort of sad, really.

With "Grenade," Bruno Mars further distances himself from his smoove-crooning contemporaries, and he does it simply by being real. Really dramatic, really emotional, really clever. This one's a winner, even if, at the end of it, Mars has lost everything. That's the price you pay for falling in love.

NEW YORK — At 7:30 p.m. on the nose, the house lights went down, the girls went crazy, and Z100's Jingle Ball 2010 got the party started Friday (December 10) for a rousing night of music and fun at Madison Square Garden.

Kim Kardashian, in a white body-hugging dress, kicked off the night's festivities by noting that it was her first time ever at MSG, then bringing Taio Cruz to the stage. He played "Break Your Heart" and "Dynamite," and for his track "Higher," he was joined by Travie McCoy, though the song usually features British pop princess Kylie Minogue.

Jesse McCartney was on hand to proudly invite Bruno Mars to the stage. The Grammy nominee played drums for an excited crowd.

He played "Billionaire," and the entire room sang along as McCoy joined him for their ode to getting famous. The crowd ate it up. He then slowed it down with "Grenade." The set ended with "Just the Way You Are" to the delight of the crowd.

Jay Sean beat-boxed, then helped introduce Paramore to the stage. The band brought some loud, boombastic rock to the show thanks to a set that included "Brick by Boring Brick."

"Anybody else care to join the party tonight?" frontwoman Hayley Williams asked the crowd before blaring out "Misery" and inviting a fan onstage to sing with her. They finished it off with "The Only Exception."

B.o.B was next to the stage. The rapper got real with his track "Don't Let Me Fall." Then the crowd went insane for "Magic." As if that didn't get the girls hyped enough, Bruno Mars returned for "Beautiful Girls."

"Everybody put your hands up," B.o.B told the crowd before playing his massive "Airplanes" with Williams by his side.

The crowd went nuts when Flo Rida introduced Selena Gomez for her dance-tastic performance of "Round and Round." Gomez looked like a true disco queen in her little black dress and heels.

She thanked Katy Perry for her next track, "Rock God," then got trancey for her song "A Year Without Rain," and ended her set with "Naturally," crediting it as the reason she got a spot on the radio tour.

The show took an adult contemporary and old school turn when Michael Buble arrived to croon tunes such as "Hollywood" and "Haven't Met You Yet," and for "Let it Snow," he got in the crowd and paid homage to the season, dusting MSG with snow confetti.

Katy Perry brought the girl power in her performance, which featured ballerinas, Christmas trees, Santa Clauses and Perry popping out of a gift box in a latex toy soldier costume for "Hot n Cold."

"This is Madison Square Garden!" she shouted to the crowd. "This is something I've dreamt about for a long time."

"This next song is about falling in love with a foreigner, like far away ... Not even in England," she said to introduce "E.T."

After a jazzy version of "I Kissed a Girl," she proudly proclaimed, "Let's dedicate this West Coast anthem to the East Coast right now," ending her performance with "California Gurls" as red and green confetti fell from the ceiling.

Pauly D prompted the loudest screams of the night when he introduced Enrique Iglesias. The Latin pop star played the clean version of "Tonight," followed by older jams such as "Escape" and "Hero," serenading a girl from the audience.

With the swooning complete, Iglesias ended with fan favorite "I Like It."

Kardashian returned, telling the crowd, "I think I'm catching a fever," before the night's most-anticipated performance: Justin Bieber.

In a plaid top and khakis, the teen star got his party started with "Somebody to Love." Bieber was in full swagga mode, dancing like a seasoned pro and getting the crowd hyped.

"The last time I was here for Jingle Ball, I had a broken foot, and this year, I'm here and both my limbs are working," he joked. "We shot a movie here, and it's coming out in February, and I think we should show you a preview."

The trailer transitioned to "Never Say Never." Bieber even brought out a surprise guest, Jayden Smith, to join him.

"I had someone who's really special to me, and I decided to bring him out," he then announced, calling for Sean Kingston for "Eenie Meenie." The girls went crazy as the pals went back and forth on the cut.

"I think I want to slow it down a little bit. My acoustic album had an extra song on it that's really important to me. But first, I need everyone to close their eyes and 'Pray,' " he said before the inspirational ballad.

He then teased the excited crowd, saying, "I think we should do one more song," and listing some of his track names.

He settled on "Baby." "Who wants to be my baby?" he asked. He ended the night with showers of fireworks and confetti, saying, "You guys are amazing."
